We can talk about some basic rules for the ideal working position. First of all, the computer monitor has to be at your arm’s length. The ideal height of your work place should be so that your arm is in front with a 20-degree angle from your body and the angle in your elbow is somewhere between 90 and 120 degrees. There should be soft cushions in front of the keyboard and mouse pad, that you can place your wrist on. The working light should come from behind or from the side.
The ideal seat height should be such that; the angles in your ankles, the knee and hip are all between 90 degrees and 120 degrees, and your soles are on the ground. The back part of your chair should also allow your back to be inclined to back at an angle of 30 degrees, but should have a springy structure so as to accompany your back when you move forward. Of course you should not forget to get up and walk around once in every 45 minutes.
